#5: THE CAROL OF THE BELLS

Hark! how the bells, sweet silver bells
All seem to say, throw cares away
Christmas is here, bringing good cheer
To young and old, meek and the bold
Ding, dong, ding, dong, that is their song
With joyful ring, all carolling.
One seems to hear, words of good cheer
From everywhere, filling the air
Oh, how they pound, raising their sound
O'er hill and dale, telling their tail
Gaily they ring, while people sing
Songs of good cheer, Christmas is here.

That's our contest piece, Carol of the Bells. It's for our Carol Fest, a competition in our school, where the sections compete in lieu with the Christmas spirit. Grabe, just a while ago if you go round our school you'll see people in career mode singing their hearts out. It's a cacophony of melodies, both pleasant and, well, unpleasant. We'll, as the old adage say, try and try until you succeed. It'll be on Friday. I hope we'll win. I wish we'll win. No.
We'll win. (ha-ha.)
Yeah. The air definitely smells like Christmas. It's gettin' cold outside. I went to the mall and found many people doing their Christmas shopping. But I, for one, have no money to do that. Yet. And I dunno how I'll manage to save cash. Oh well..
How I wish time would speed up so that we'll have Christmas soon.
